Time Management, Brian Tracy, Eat That Frog

When we talk about time management, one of the personalities I most admire is the Lord, and I say Lord in large print, “Brian Tracy”. Not only in time management, but also in the Art of Selling.

In my opinion, it is incredible how some of the things he wrote about sales, leadership, time management, among others, a few years ago are still so current.

One of the things I remember, and which he often mentioned, was that we should eat a frog every morning.

Don’t shiver already thinking about the frog and the swallowing.

Obviously, it’s figurative.

By launching a challenge on the social networks, precisely with this question, we have had the most diverse answers.

  • Good Sense
  • Work
  • Union
  • Rain
  • Anyway??? and so many other answers that wouldn’t fit here.

    All this made us think???

    But what’s missing after all?

    A leader, a father, a businessman, a director, a child????

    Will we ever come to any conclusions?

    Let’s take the word “Motivation” or, as we like to call it, “Motive for Action.”

    Will it work for everyone?

    A few days ago we were giving another course on “The Art of Leadership and Coaching.” The class was fantastic, the best we’ve had so far, and on the last day, while we were entering the introduction module to coaching, a lot of questions came up.

    Feedback?

    Yes, feedback!

    I know that most leaders don’t like this process, but if you don’t have feedback from the people in your team, how do you know if you are leading your team well or badly?

    Many people forget that we are not dealing with machines.

    If it were a machine, it would be simple to measure effectiveness. It would be enough to analyze the output produced by it. In the case of human beings, the process is a little more complex. We may even have some performance indicators, but if these performance indicators don’t take these factors into account, we may be walking a long way into an abyss from which we can hardly get out.
