Humm…

But after all, what do marketing and sales have to do with the results of a possible soccer match?

Everything and nothing…

Nothing, because they are not comparable; everything, because sometimes the interaction between marketing and sales resembles your national soccer team.

Have you noticed that we have a group of stars and that the sum of their skills should make an exceptional team with exceptional results?

So why can’t it?

It’s the same with marketing and sales.

We often have an excellent sales team, professional, dedicated, dynamic, and fighting non-stop.

In parallel, we also have a marketing team that is a pleasure to watch, creative, dynamic, and many times brilliant.

Coaching? For me?

A lot has been said about coaching these days. It seems that suddenly the world woke up for the subject in the last years.

People talk about Business Coaching, NLP Coaching, Executive Coaching, Commercial Coaching, Team Coaching, Life Coaching, Food Coaching, Health Coaching, … coaching.

I think you get the idea. In other words, nobody can have a simple and practical definition that everyone agrees!

The question is: what is Executive Coaching for, after all? This is the more traditional side of coaching. Some say it’s the only coaching ttype here is. Even when we are referring to “Life Coaching,” which some people use in the market to separate coaching in the professional and personal sphere, in practice, it is coaching.

Spectacles? Um…

Do not be alarmed that it is not an advertisement for the purchase of spectacles or contact lenses.

However, this issue has to be addressed if we link it to your sales team’s activity.

One of the things that we most love internally in Ideas and Challenges is the theme of coaching.

Not the “Life Coaching” aspect that is so fashionable, but the more entrepreneurial aspect of “Executive Coaching” and “Sales Team Coaching” in which we have been giving letters for years and in which we were pioneers in Portugal.

You might think:

“But isn’t that a fad?”

Yeah, it does look that way when you look at everything that’s going on around you. However, all fashions have good and bad things.
